The Family Engagement Center at Pioneer Elementary (3860 S. 3380 West) partnered with Granite Preschool and Waterford Upstart to build the Together Time program. The classes support early learning, literacy development and kindergarten readiness. 

In May, the school held a celebration to recognize parents who completed the Together Time courses, which provide preschool activities for parents and children. Its goal is to teach parents tools and skills to help their children meet educational markers. 

Along with Together Time, the Family Engagement Center also provides a Kindergarten Parent Club, homework help for caregivers, ESL classes, computer literacy, wellness courses and Imagine Learning. For more information, visit graniteschools.org/familyengagement.
