Holy Cross Hospital-Jordan Valley West in West Valley City has earned the designation as one of the safest hospitals for patients in the nation. The Leapfrog Group, an independent national nonprofit watchdog focused on patient safety, awarded an “A” grade to the 133-bed hospital at 3460 S. 4155 West. The Leapfrog Hospital Safety Grade is the only hospital ratings program “focused solely on preventable medical errors, infections, and injuries that kill more than 500 patients a day in the United States,” according to Leapfrog and Holy Cross Hospital parent company CommonSpirit Health.
